Organizing Our Master Bedroom Closet

Hello, happy Tuesday!

If you’ve been following my Instagram stories, then you already know that I’ve been working on getting our master bedroom closet organized. This has been no small task, but I’m SO happy with the progress I’ve made so far!

I wanted to share some photos that I’ve been referencing for inspiration- I’m definitely the kind of person who needs a space to be both functional AND pretty (even if it’s just the inside of my closet)! Making it pretty helps me actually want to keep it organized and looking nice. So if you’re like me, then you’ll definitely love these inspo pics!

I also put together some products I’ve come across that I think anyone would find useful in their own closets. *this post contains affiliate links

A good first step when tackling closet organization is definitely to find a closet system that fits your space. There are SO many different kinds available, they even have systems made to fit into corners to make sure no area goes to waste!

After you install a good closet system, it’s a good idea to look at what space is leftover and what type of storage you need the most. I needed an easy place to store my shoes (I have a lot), so I made sure to add in a couple of wall shelves on my side. I also came across shelf dividers, extendable closet valets, and products you can add to shelves to create more usable space. You can basically find a solution out there for any closet problem you might be having!

Once you have all your extra shelves in place, you can start thinking about the smaller organizing products. You might want to add some wall hooks, get a headband organizer to keep on a shelf, or a pretty jewelry tray- anything you want quick access to can organized with things like this.

And then just in case you want to add something pretty, I pull together some gorgeous and affordable vintage rugs!
