I’ve always had a creative personality type. From painting + drawing to furniture rearranging + room decorating, I love pretty much any activity where I get to be creative! I started this blog because I work full time in healthcare, which doesn’t give me much opportunity to do what I love. I needed to create a space where I can get my creativity out.

Since buying our first home, my blog has grown to include more DIY projects. I hope to show people that you can create beautiful spaces- even on a tight budget! I’ve become a huge believer in the power of paint, and that if you’re unhappy with an area of your home- you should do whatever you can to fix it! You may have to save and plan for a full renovation, but that doesn’t mean you can’t temporarily fix it in the mean time. Your home should be a place that makes you happy, so don’t make excuses for why you need to wait to make changes (even if you’re renting, there are still things you can do)!

I’ve been fortunate enough to have my home featured on Glitter Guide, Apartment Therapy, and Design Mom.

I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia with my husband and our 2 year old son. When we’re not chasing our son around or doing projects on our home, we love a good Netflix binge session, enjoying a few IPAs on our deck, and hanging out with friends.

My biggest DIY project to date is definitely when I painted our kitchen counters! It took me a weekend to finish, and it made a huge difference!

I’m also constantly posting home updates to my Instagram account, so be sure to follow me there for even more home ideas!
