Here is my take on a “modern scandi” inspired dorm! This look is all about neutrals, or muted colors. Scandi interiors tend to have a lot of natural elements (jute rug, natural wood, seagrass baskets/wall decor, etc) and they are often fairly minimal. You’ll also find a lot of mid-century modern style furniture in these spaces. And finally, this design style is known for prioritizing “hygge” when designing spaces. Hygge is all about comfort & coziness- chunky knit blankets, faux sheepskin rugs, & candles are all examples of accessories that help create that cozy atmosphere.
