100+ Amazon Home Decor Finds (Danish Pastel Aesthetic)

Aug 2022 UPDATE: Check out my latest dorm room mood boards here & here! I linked even more trendy/aesthetic finds!

When I wrote this post last year, I didn’t think I’d be doing the same post again this year! But here we are- “Danish Pastel” is still the most popular search on my website, and these two pins of mine still have the highest engagement rate by far!

And while the overall feel hasn’t changed, I’ve definitely noticed some other styles being blended in with it. Pops of brighter colors and nods to the early 2000s have definitely found their way into Danish pastel interiors, and I love it! After the last couple of years, I can totally see why people are surrounding themselves with smiley faces and fun colors.

Soooo I decided to do another “Get the Look” post, this time with some Y2K-ish pieces (in addition to classic danish pastel finds)! And this time I did a REALLY DEEP dive into Amazon and found OVER 100 things that fans of this style are going to LOVE! So keep on scrolling to get to the links— I also included some tips & advice for putting it all together! :)

First, here are some of the more “classic” pastel danish things that I found: (also, just a reminder that everything is linked together at the end of the post!)

TOGO ALTERNATIVES:

And now here are some of the more Y2K-ish type things that I found. I know that smiley faces + that retro flower shape started getting popular around the same time that Danish pastel started to take off- but I still feel they lean more 90s/2000s.

Tips for Putting it All Together:

  • Try not to go too overboard with this style, too much of any one style starts to lack personality. Make sure you don’t lose your individual style to trends- that’s what makes a space truly interesting!

  • Don’t forget to leave some space for your eyes to rest. I think this is especially important with more colorful decor styles. Choosing neutral colors for your bigger pieces (rug, furniture, etc) is a great way to keep the balance.

  • Try a slow approach to decorating. You don’t have to get everything done in one shot! Taking it slower has helped me be more intentional with what I bring into our home. I’ve learned to take my time to really think about how I use certain spaces.

Hopefully those tips are helpful! You really don’t have to overthink it too much though- if you like something, try it out! The worst that could happen is that you decide you don’t like it. Sometimes you have to choose the “wrong” things first so you can figure out what you would like better!
