I had SO much fun transforming my sister’s beach house living room! The problems her and her husband had with it before were: the style of furniture felt too traditional/ formal and there wasn’t enough seating. Due to those two issues, this room was super under-used and they really wanted to turn it into a space that was conducive to entertaining and made them + their guests feel cozy. Like in my parent’s living room, the original furniture layout left a pretty decent amount of dead space (between the two chairs + the entrance to the dining room). We rearranged the layout and replaced some of the furniture and art. I added greenery and little beachy/boho touches to give this space a cozier feel.
